The Rhodohypoxis is a South African bulbous plant with grassy leaves and star-shaped flowers. It is not a hardy perennial.

The Rhodohypoxis was originally found in swampy areas but likes dry soil in winter. It makes the plants suitable for growing in moist conditions but should be kept dry during winter. However, do not allow the bulbs to dry out.

The Rhodohypoxis is blooming extravagantly for about 8 to 10 week, making it a very attractive plant for garden centres. As we could keep our plants dormant till week 18, it’s possible to schedule your production throughout Spring / early Summer.

Quality

The Hogendoorn jumbo-plugs are characterized by a short growth cycle. The quick circulation to final product will give you the opportunity for several productions per year and thus a high profit per square meter.

We supply 1-year old plugs to make this short production possible with our customers
